Here is an example mystery:

The scene is set in the year 1947. You find yourself standing outside the grand Montgomery Mansion, a towering estate shrouded in mystery and nestled in a secluded part of the city. The night air is thick with tension and the faint echo of a police siren in the distance.

The Crime: The mansion’s owner, Charles Montgomery, has been found dead under suspicious circumstances. It’s a clear case of homicide.

Evelyn Montgomery: The victim’s wife. Elegant and secretive, she recently inherited a large sum of money.

James Dalton: Charles Montgomery’s business partner. Known for his ambition and aggression, he was seen arguing with Montgomery shortly before the crime.

Anna Collins: The housemaid. Loyal and observant, she knows the mansion’s secrets like the back of her hand.
