This idea was inspired by the challenging exercise of trying to choose the right health insurance plan for your and your family. It runs multiple personalized healthcare scenarios through each potential plan to estimate your total annual cost.

If you are from a country like the U.S. that doesn’t offer universal healthcare, this tool is for you. (If you are from Australia, Belgium, England, Albania, Croatia, Italy, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Canada, Germany, Finland, Algeria, Cuba, Japan, Botswana, Chile, Denmark, Brazil, France, Costa Rica, Czechia, Switzerland, Bulgaria or China – you can probably ignore this one.)

How it works:

1. Upload a screenshot or paste in the details of the healthcare plans your are considering.
2. Answer some questions about your family setup, healthcare needs, and healthcare priorities
3. The GPT will then run 3 scenarios through each of the available healthcare plans. A low incident, moderate incident, and high incident scenario – each with progressively greater healthcare requirements.
4. The GPT will then tell you the estimated total annual cost for each of the plans you are considering.
5. Finally, the GPT will spit out a CSV file with the analysis for you to continue your exploration.

This tool does not offer financial advice, but it does give you some points of reference that are highly tailored to your situation, to help guide your decision.
