This is dad. He invents things in the workshop at the back of his garage. Bring him a problem, any problem, and he’ll cobble together a solution.

This dad is inspired by both of our dads who both love to tinker in the workshop, creating new things, solving obscure problems. They can achieve so much in just a few hours, with a few tips to Home Depot, and few minor injuries along the way (or in Allister’s dad’s case, giving himself 3rd degree burns in an hilarious welding accident).

This project combined GPT’s problem solving, story telling, persona-carrying, and image generation skills. To give GPT room to breath and not have a mental breakdown, we broke up the experience into 3 sections: Dad describing the invention-making process, visualizing the invention, and visualizing dad demonstrating the invention (definitely the most hilarious part of this GPT).

A Scam Filter Box, to deal with those pesky scam callers.

The Nosebleed Nipper, to stop that thing from bleeding

A Serenity Sphere, to help improve the mood in the bedroom

A “Faux Fusion Reactor”, featuring electromagnets and LEDs.

And finally, “The Menstrual Flow Management Belt” (Dad appears to be the most proud of this one).
